a bit about me
well hello there…
Welcome to my website! If you landed here and you don’t know who the heck this rebekah ruth person is…well this is the right page to find out!
I’m a writer, a realtor, a podcaster, a narrator, an editor, a wife, and a mom…(did you just get tired like I did? haha) I’m a high-functioning hot mess who loves talking about books and movies and people’s real life stories. I believe we all have a story to tell. I’m passionate about helping people (women in particular) tell a better story with their lives and I enjoy helping them get their story out into the world whether it’s through helping with the writing, the editing, or the narration.
This website is here because I love being a resource for women; helping them feel smart, confident and knowledgeable. I read constantly which means I always have a list of great books to recommend. (Some I may have even narrated!) I’m a student of psychology and a personality profile junkie.
I’m also—practically—a professional Cinnamon Dolce Latte drinker…so I can often be found at my local Starbucks with my computer, my iPad and a list of ideas for blog posts or books.
For those who don't know me personally, here's a bit about my fam: My husband is Bill, and we've been married 32 years. We have four American kids: Jordanne (28), Jacob (26), Josh (21) and Jonny (19) and one who has our heart in Africa, named Joshua.
When I’m not doing bookish things, I run a real estate biz with Bill. Yes, we work together and no, we don't feel like killing each other by the end of the day (most days 😳).
I currently have two novels published and I'm finishing up a third to round out the Millway Series. Where the Pink Houses Are and Where the Yellow Flowers Grow are available on Amazon.com. I’m also in the midst of writing a memoir that I’m really excited to share with the world. Click the titles for reviews and more info!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I’m so glad you’re here. Stick around, take a look and feel free to contact me if you have any questions about books, brains, banter, etc!
Current pics on top. Second pic was not rehearsed. No, every one of our offspring spontaneously acted disgusted at our kiss. Pic below was my original family pic on my website and I just like it too much to take it down. Big changes happen in 5 or 6 years!
